![]() ![]() I dont like how in some RTS games you watch your units take an endless stream of bullets before the individuals actually start dying one by one Originally posted by Thermite: I do love realism. ![]() No unit in this game ever becomes useless. Tanks must keep their distance or the rifles can throw a sticky bomb to damage the engine (then tanks are in big trouble). When it reaches veterancy level three it is a terminator. One of the first units you can make is the rifleman squad. So it might seem OP to them but it is not. They say OP, but in reality they just do something very wrong and end up in a situation so bad without thinking they did something that wrong. But anything in this game can be countered. People don't like brit blobs in team games for example. ![]() *There really isn't a one go to strong unit you can simply spam, you always need at least something else to support it (or it will die). An armored car in the hands of a noob is laughable (you just kill it easily without losing anything and get vetrancy) but in the hands of a very good player it is one of the most strongest units, you will take many losses every time you try to kill it and it might even survive the whole game. It is what can achieve a units maximum potential. *Units have special abilities (throw grenade, throw stickybomb, supressive fire), you can pick a commander and it will give you additional "big" abilities (like firestrom which callls down a barrage of rockets to an area applying a burning effect or blitzkrieg which makes all your tanks faster for a while or zeal which is a passive ability). A six man squad for example can cost 270 to produce but if you lose one indivudual in your six man squad you can replace him for only 27. *All units except for vechiles and a few key units come in groups called squads. If you lose the unit you lose the vetrancy it got. *This game is all about unit preservation (units gain veterancy by for example killing enemy units and thus becoming stronger). Haven't played your game but as far as this one goes. ![]()
